(17) विश्वामित्र के पुत्रों ने शूद्रवर्ण अपनाया |विश्वामित्र स्वयं क्षत्रिय थे परन्तु बाद उन्होंने ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त किया |
 (17) विदुर दासी पुत्र थे | तथापि वे ब्राह्मण हुए और उन्होंने हस्तिनापुर साम्राज्य का मंत्री पद सुशोभित किया | 

18. Kavash Ailush, a son of a maid-woman, and Vatsa, a son of a Shudra-woman became Rigvedic Rishis (saints)for their having become seers of Mantras (exponents of Vedic hymns).
19.Valmiki who  was lowly-born acquired the fame which goes with the name of Maharishi Valmiki.
20. Shri Ram, a son of King Dashratha, and Shri Krishna, born in a Yadav family, came to be regarded as God. They became venerable even for the Brahmanas, their birth in a Kshatriya family notwithstanding.
21.On the other hand, Ravana who was born in a clan of Pulastya Rishi came to be called a Rakshasha ‘demon’ for indulging in evil deeds and for his mis-conduct.
22. Raghu, the ancestor of Rama had a son named Pravridha. He was outcast from the Kshatriya clan due to his misdeeds and misdemeanor and became a demon.
23. Trishanku, originally a king became a Chandal.
24. Many of the Vishwamitra’s sons came to be called Shudras. 

25-Prajapati is the main God of Yajurveda
